IELTS STRUCTURE

  • The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are taken on the same day, while the Speaking test may be conducted on the same day or up to seven days before or after.
  • Band scores ranging from 0 to 9 are awarded for each section: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Overall band score between 0 to 9 is calculated by averaging the four section scores and rounding to the nearest half or whole band.
