What is the Early Edge?

Comprehensive Early College Preparation

Early Edge is a comprehensive early college preparation course starting in Year 6. Since colleges use both grades and standardised test scores as their top criteria for admission, our program focuses on both.

Enhancing Basic Foundations and Test Preparation

The Early Edge program reinforces and increases the basic foundation students need to perform well at their grade level, and introduces them to test preparation. Teachers adapt the flexible program to meet the student’s needs.

Real-World Application and Vocabulary Reinforcement

The math curriculum includes real-world usage of all concepts, repetition of math vocabulary, and translation of word problems to number sentences.

Focused Lessons in Reading, Writing, and Communication

To improve verbal skills, each lesson in the English curriculum emphasises reading, writing, and verbal communication by breaking down these skills into steps and teaching through repetition.

Addressing Student Needs and Boosting Performance

By addressing student problem areas through interactive class activities and drills, the Early Edge course helps students improve in their class work, on the SAT test, on the ACT test, and on other standardised tests.

Get ahead, your way.
