  • Choose from a wide range of majors, minors, and elective courses, enabling interdisciplinary learning (e.g., combining Computer Science with Economics or Psychology with Data Science).
  • Customize their study path through honors programs, internships, research projects, and study-abroad opportunities.

FAQs – Admission in USA

Frequently asked questions about studying and getting admission in top US universities.
Q1. How to get admission in top universities in the USA?

Admission depends on academic performance, test scores, essays, recommendation letters, and interviews. Our counselors help create strong applications to maximize your chances.

Q2. Which is the easiest USA university to get admission?

It depends on your profile. We guide you to select Reach, Target, and Safety universities for optimal chances.

Q3. What is the US education system like?

The US education system is flexible, with credit-based courses, majors, minors, and opportunities for research and internships.

Q4. Do you help with student visas?

Yes, we offer support for US student visa applications — from documentation to interview preparation.

Q5. What are Fall and Spring admissions in USA?

Fall admissions start in August–September, while Spring admissions start in January. We help plan timelines for both cycles.

Q 6. How can Singapore students apply for admission to USA colleges?

Singapore students apply via the Common App or Coalition App. Get your school transcripts sorted, ask two teachers you're actually close with for recommendation letters, and don't leave your personal essay to the last week. When you have a first choice you should think about applying for Early Decision, which usually ends in November. On the other hand, Regular Decision goes on till January. Many universities also want to see proficiency scores, like SAT, ACT or AP for undergraduate, or GRE/GMAT for Graduate (Masters) programs

Q 7. What SAT score do I need to study in the USA?

When you are looking at highly selective US Universities, you should try to get a score of 1470 to 1580 on your test. Ivy League and top US universities usually want to see a score of 1450 to 1600. If you are looking at good State Universities, they usually want a score of 1200 to 1400. Most public universities are looking for a score of around 1100 to 1300. You should always check what the US universities require because the rules for testing are different at each US university.

Q8. How does The Princeton Review help with Ivy League admission?

From what students in Singapore say, the biggest value isn't just the SAT classes — it's having someone tell you straight what's missing from your application. Singapore schools don't really teach you how to "sell yourself" the American way, and that gap costs people. The Princeton Review coaches help bridge exactly that. The essay feedback, especially, most kids submit way too generic a draft without realising it until someone points it out.

Q9. How to Get Into Harvard from Singapore?

Getting into Harvard University from Singapore requires exceptional academic results, strong SAT/ACT scores (if submitted), impactful extracurricular activities, leadership experience, compelling personal essays, and outstanding recommendation letters. Applicants should demonstrate intellectual curiosity, community involvement, and a unique personal profile that stands out in Harvard’s highly competitive admissions process.

At Princeton Review Singapore, our expert admissions consultants help students build strong applications through SAT preparation, profile development, university selection, essay guidance, interview preparation, and end-to-end admissions support, helping maximize their chances of gaining admission to top universities such as Harvard.
