The Princeton Review Singapore at Yishun Innova Junior College Further Education Symposium: Guiding Students Towards Top Global Universities

On May 20th, the team from Princeton Review Singapore participated in the Further Education Symposium at Yishun Innova Junior College.

Prior to participating in the fair, The Princeton Review conducted a complimentary SAT diagnostic test for 60 students from the school who expressed interest in pursuing admission to top-ranking international universities. The initiative was designed to give students a realistic understanding of the SAT exam format, question patterns, and time-management requirements.

The test gave them a realistic baseline of where they stand and what they need to work on in order to improve their scores.

A lot of students and parents came to the symposium. Some famous schools like the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, and LASALLE College of the Arts were also there. A large number of students visited the booth of The Princeton Review, reflecting Yishun Innova Junior College’s strong commitment to preparing its students for higher education opportunities at leading universities around the world. The enthusiastic response highlighted the students’ growing interest in international admissions pathways, SAT test preparation, and global academic opportunities. The fair provided them with valuable guidance on university applications, scholarship opportunities, and the skills required to succeed in an increasingly competitive international education landscape.

These students wanted to learn more about how to prepare for the SAT, how to get into Ivy League schools, and what the best universities in the US are. They also asked about scholarships and how to score high on the SAT to be eligible for admission to Global top-ranking universities.

The results of the SAT test were very interesting, and led to some great discussions with students and parents. The Princeton Review team was able to explain how to understand SAT score reports, make a plan to study for the SAT, and how to use the SAT scores when applying to universities. The team also talked to some students from Korea who wanted to use their SAT scores to help them get into universities in Korea, and other countries. The Princeton Review team also gave students advice on how to apply to universities, when to apply, how to build a profile, and how to write a good essay. Students were able to talk to The Princeton Review team one-on-one to get help with these things.
